Why statboy exists

April 3, 2026

Most spreadsheet work does not need a warehouse migration, a new analyst hire, or a week of cleanup before anyone can make a decision.

It needs someone to take the ugly CSV, fix the columns, standardize the labels, and return something a team can actually trust before the meeting starts.

That gap is where statboy lives.

The product is built for teams whose work keeps stalling on messy exports, hand-built formulas, and one-off requests that somehow show up every Friday afternoon. The goal is not to turn every operator into a data engineer. The goal is to make the cleanup, transformation, and reporting work feel boring again.

When the input is chaotic, the output still needs to feel deliberate. That is the standard the product is built around, and it is the standard this blog will document as the product evolves.
