Reusable workflows for recurring reports

A recurring report should not feel like a recurring emergency.

If the same revenue summary, ops export, or weekly performance pack shows up on a schedule, the workflow should be reusable before the team worries about making it sophisticated.

Reusable workflows matter because most spreadsheet pain is operational, not conceptual.

People already know what answer they need. What they do not have is a reliable path from a fresh export to the same cleaned output every single time. When the logic lives in one person's head or inside a copied workbook from six months ago, the process is guaranteed to drift.

The better pattern is simple: capture the steps once, keep the transformations explicit, and make reruns cheap. That is how recurring reporting stops stealing time from the rest of the business.
